Fiat has revealed the facelifted 500L with 40% new components, costing from £16,195.
The new car is said to be more convenient and feature more technology than the current model, including autonomous emergency braking and smartphone connectivity.
Three versions of the car are available: Urban, Cross and Wagon. Urban models offer a standard configuration while Cross variants get different bumpers, skid plate and raised suspension. The Wagon has seven seats.
Two petrol engines are available: a 1.4-litre with 95PS, and 1.4-litre T-Jet delivering 120hp. There are also two diesels, a 95PS 1.3-litre unit and a 120PS 1.6-litre.
On the outside there are new LED daytime running lights, a revised front bumper and extra chrome trim.
The interior of the 500L is completely new, starting with an updated dashboard to give a more high-tech and iconic look. Fiat says the passenger compartment has been designed to offer comfort, convenience and versatility.
A new steering wheel combined with a new dashboard improves the visibility of the instrument cluster, which is further enhanced by white backlighting. The driver also benefits from a TFT colour digital display.
