New London T-Charge

As featured on

October 2017 saw the introduction of the new London ‘T-Charge’; a policy brought into place where nearly all vehicles registered before January 2005 will incur a £10 toxicity charge (T-Charge) each time they enter the current London Congestion Charge Zone.

Currently, most fleet cars and vans are four-years old or newer so won’t be affected. FleetNews have published a guide which looks forward on what will happen in April 2019 when Euro 4 and Euro 5 diesel vehicles (pre-64 plate) are expected to become liable for the new charge. By April 2021, London’s ultra-low emission zone is to be expanded to the entire area inside the north and south circular roads.

Have you been wondering how the new implemented changes will affect you? Read and find out more by clicking through to the FleetNews website.
